How to Convert an Image to Excel

Upload the image, extract its tables, and open the XLSX download in Excel.

1

Upload the picture you want to convert

Choose or drag in a JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, or BMP file. Include the column headings and complete values so you can check the workbook against the source.

2

Select Table extraction and process

Choose Table extraction for spreadsheet data, then click Process files. This mode returns readable tables or explicit factual records as rows and columns.

3

Check the values and download Excel

Compare the preview with your image. Choose Download Excel from a table's controls, or All tables as Excel from the result's Download menu for a workbook with separate worksheets.

4

Open the workbook and prepare columns

Make corrections in Excel. Cells are exported as text, so review decimal separators, signs and date order before converting amounts or dates; keep identifiers as text.

Need an Excel File Instead of a Picture?

A supplier’s price list or a saved report screenshot needs usable cells before you can sort or calculate its data.

An image pasted into a worksheet
Inserting a picture keeps the values inside the image. It does not turn them into product, price, or date columns.
Amounts and identifiers
A price such as 1,250.00 needs a numeric type for calculations, while a code such as 00127 usually needs to stay text.
Several tables in one image
A summary and a detailed list may need separate sheets so you can work with each one.

Download Extracted Tables as an Excel Workbook

Download one table or put tables from the same result on separate XLSX worksheets. Cells are written as text; check amounts and dates before converting their types for calculations.

Use Download Excel on the table you want, such as a price list or report section.

Use All tables as Excel to download each extracted table from that result on its own worksheet.

XLSX cells are written as text so recognized leading zeros remain available before you change types.

The workbook retains valid recognized merges, which you can adjust further in Excel.

Continue Your Work in Excel

Calculate from checked values
Convert relevant columns to numbers, then add totals and calculations in Excel.
Maintain an editable workbook
Save your XLSX file and continue renaming sheets, updating values, and formatting cells.
